I am a qualified counsellor & psychotherapist who strives to deliver consistent, high-value therapy to my clients. I am self-motivated & enthusiastically committed to a trauma-informed pluralistic approach to clinical work that sensitively applies theory(s) into an adaptable and meaningful formulation in the context of individual client needs & in respect of the BACP ethical framework.

Hello, thank you for browsing my page!  From my own experiences, I know how difficult it can be to take the first step into counselling. While I hope to bring a level of experience and theoretical understanding to my work, I am not the expert of your life – you are.

I believe creating meaningful change is a process. It involves learning something new and unlearning something old. It takes honesty, vulnerability, courage and commitment.

  • Do you often feel anxious, stressed or overwhelmed ? And maybe you feel like you’re too much or not good enough?
  • Do you often find yourself struggling to set healthy boundaries or reacting to situations in ways that are not working well for you?
  • Maybe you’ve been feeling disconnected, or lost? You can’t put your finger on it but you are are full of self-doubts and haven’t been feeling ‘right’, and it’s making you feel anxious and frustrated.
  • Well, you’re not alone; although its only human for us to experience some of the above at some point in life, you may have been feeling this way for a while and it’s negatively impacting your life and relationships.

For many of us, ‘change’ is simply a shift from the norm, a subtle difference in our day-to-day experience and perspective. But this shift can be life-changing.

I aim to co-create a friendly, creative and confidential space where you can begin to feel at ease with yourself, become clearer about your present and feel more in control of your future. It can be even more difficult after experiencing trauma, or having lived our lives through someone else’s lens. We may experience internal conflicts, which may cause us to feel overwhelmed by certain situations or emotions.

Befriending, understanding, tolerating emotions, and building self-compassion have been key in my approach. I aim to help you connect to the different aspects of yourself, to focus Systemically your relationship with yourself and others, and how these might affect the person you really are.

No matter how large the problem might seem or how stuck you might feel, I encourage you to give me a call, a text or drop me an email. Your feelings are real, your needs are important and the change or sense of understanding you desire is possible.

I look forward to meeting you

Graham
